ā€œWildlife, Lenses & Campfire Tales – Kruger 2026ā€

šŸŒ Kruger National Park – May 2026

Let’s co-create a journey into the wild.In May 2026, I’m planning a small-group trip to Kruger National Park – one of Africa’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. The idea is simple: a team of max 10 explorers, meeting at Johannesburg (OR Tambo Airport), driving into Kruger together, and spending days in the bush — not just watching, but observing, learning, and photographing.

šŸ“ø Photography Focus:We’re all amateurs here, at different stages of the journey. This isn’t a masterclass; it’s a shared learning circle. The goal is to return home with sharper skills, better images, and deeper stories.

🦁 Animal Behaviour Focus:We’ll do informal observation sessions — sharing notes, discussing patterns, and documenting moments. Think of it as a mix of curiosity, patience, and teamwork rather than classroom-style learning.

šŸ•ļø Stay & Style:Inside the park, in classic SANParks campsĀ (rondavels & cottages).Self-driveĀ in rental SUVs — flexible, immersive, and participative.Evenings will be self-catering — simple barbeques, fireside cooking, and huddles under the stars, where we exchange stories, review photos, and plan the next day’s adventure.

šŸ¤ Participation & Planning:This is 70% my initiative — I’ll curate the trip, organize logistics, and keep us aligned. But I’m also inviting contributions: if you’ve been to Kruger before, or have ideas on routes, photography hacks, or wildlife insights — bring them in.

āš ļø Serious Intent Only:Kruger’s May bookings will sell out fast — camps can get blocked months in advance. If you feel this trip is for you, now’s the time to raise your hand.

šŸ‘‰ Next Steps:

  • Comment YES/NO if this resonates.

  • DM me if you’re seriously interested.

  • Let’s start building this team together before bookings close.

This isn’t a packaged tour. It’s a collective adventure: a chance to learn, create, and explore together — and to walk away with not just photos, but stories worth telling.
